美國護照

　　剛剛去看晞的寶寶，然後順便看了寶寶今天剛收到的美國護照，美國護照好漂亮哦～每一頁都有不同的圖畫，像是自由女神、老鷹、西部牛仔等等美國象徵，還有名言節錄，我記得有馬丁路德："I have a dream..."、獨立宣言："All men are created equal..."，整本看下來真是超熱血，尤其是內頁最後一面：衛星、地球和外太空，畫龍點睛表現出開拓探索的無畏勇氣，讓我想到The West Wing某一集Sam談論為什麼要花錢探索外太空：

SAM
There are a lot of hungry people in the world, Mal, and none of them are hungry because we went to the moon. None of them are colder, and certainly none of them are dumber ‘cause we went to the moon.

MALLORY
And we went to the moon. Do we really have to go to Mars?

SAM
Yes.

MALLORY
Why?

SAM
‘Cause it’s next. For we came out of the cave, and we looked over the hill, and we saw fire. And we crossed the ocean, and we pioneered the West, and we took to the sky. The history of man is hung on the timeline of exploration, and this is what’s next.

　　我並不是想要變成美國人，只是希望台灣護照做得更美一點，然後在上面寫一些像是「安得廣廈千萬間，大庇天下寒士俱歡顏」、「為往聖繼絕學，為萬世開太平」之類大胸懷大氣魄的名句。
